  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • ¼ cup oil

  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  2. Cut chicken into 1-inch pieces; season with salt and pepper.
  3. Coat chicken pieces with cornstarch, then dip in beaten eggs.
  4. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Brown chicken pieces for about 1-2 minutes until golden.
  5. In a bowl, mix ketchup, garlic powder, sugar, vinegar, and soy sauce to create the sauce.
  6. Place browned chicken in the baking dish, pour sauce over it, and bake for approximately 50 minutes, turning halfway through.
