  • 1 package (3.4 ounces) quick-set banana pudding mix
  • 1 can (20 ounces, undrained) crushed pineapple
  • 1 tub (8 ounces) whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 heaping cup small marshmallows
  • More than ½ cup finely chopped walnuts (reserve 2 tablespoons for garnish)
  • Slightly over ¼ cup tiny chocolate bits (reserve 1 tablespoon for garnish)
  • 2 fresh bananas, sliced
  • 2 jars (10 ounces each) maraschino cherries, halved and dried

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the banana pudding mix with crushed pineapple until thick.
  2. Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated.
  3. Add the marshmallows, most of the walnuts and chocolate bits, sliced bananas, and halved cherries. Mix gently.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 60 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Before serving, top with reserved walnuts and chocolate bits for garnish.
