  • 1/3 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon cracked red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil (divided)
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Sesame seeds (garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, cornstarch, beef broth, honey, hoisin, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Cook ramen noodles in boiling water for 2-3 minutes; rinse under cold water.
  3. In a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, sear seasoned steak until browned (about 5 minutes). Remove from the skillet.
  4. Sauté broccoli with water covered for about 2 minutes until tender.
  5. Return steak and noodles to the skillet; pour in the sauce and stir until heated through (1-2 minutes).
  6. Serve garnished with sesame seeds.
