Ingredients
- 1 to 1.25 pounds flank steak
- 4 to 6 cups broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 to 2 teaspoons ginger
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
Instructions
- Coat the sliced flank steak with cornstarch in a zip-top bag and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan, heat olive and sesame oil, then sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant. Add soy sauce, water, and brown sugar; bring to a boil and simmer until thickened.
