  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 pound large shrimp (deveined)
  • 1 pound top sirloin steak (cubed)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons blackened seasoning
  • Kosher salt and black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high. Season shrimp with blackened seasoning and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sear cubed steak seasoned with blackened seasoning for about 5-7 minutes until browned but tender; remove.
  4. Melt butter in the skillet, sauté onion until translucent, add garlic and cook briefly. Stir in cream and gradually mix in parmesan cheese until smooth.
  5. Combine cooked pasta, shrimp, and steak into the sauce; season to taste.
  6. Garnish with parsley before serving.
