Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 12 dinner rolls (e.g., King's Hawaiian)
- 16 slices American cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. sweet pickle relish
- 1 Tbsp. softened butter
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 white onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. yellow mustard
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- pepper, to taste
- 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
- pinch of salt and garlic powder
- 2 tsp. white sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Butter a baking sheet and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet; sauté diced onions until translucent.
- Add ground beef, cooking until no longer pink; drain excess fat.
- Stir in garlic, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Slice dinner rolls in half and place the bottom halves on the baking sheet.
