  • 1 lb Monon Meats Smoked Sausage, thinly sliced
  • 2 lbs potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the sliced smoked sausage until golden; set aside.
  3. Sauté diced onion and minced garlic in the same skillet until translucent.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine diced potatoes, cooked sausage, sautéed onion and garlic, cheddar cheese, ranch dressing mix, milk, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
  5. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 60 minutes.
  7. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until tender and golden brown.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
