  • ½ cup flour
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese (finely grated)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon salted butter
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • 4 cloves garlic (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons capers (drained)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper; coat in a mixture of flour, Parmesan cheese, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add white wine, scraping the pan to deglaze; simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Stir in capers, chicken broth, and lemon juice; bring to a gentle boil. Return chicken to skillet and simmer for another 5 minutes.
