  • 12 tablespoons Dijon mustard (to taste)

  • 2/3 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup full-fat sour cream

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken into pieces; season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Dredge in flour.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; cook chicken until browned (about 3 minutes per side). Transfer to a plate.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil and butter; sauté mushrooms and onions until browned (6–8 minutes).
  4. Stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic; cook for another minute.
  5. Pour in chicken broth, scraping up browned bits; return chicken to the skillet and simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Off heat, stir in sour cream until smooth; season if needed.
  7. Serve immediately over egg noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes.
