- 1 3/4 cups unsalted butter
- 1 large egg
- 2/3 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare two layers of chocolate cake by mixing dry ingredients in one bowl and wet ingredients in another. Combine both mixtures and bake in greased pans for 30-35 minutes.
- For the cheesecake layer, blend cream cheese with sugar, cocoa powder, sour cream, vanilla extract, melted chocolate chips, and eggs until smooth.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over one cooled cake layer and bake at 325°F (160°C) for approximately 50-60 minutes.
