  • 2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 8 tbsp softened butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 3½ cups powdered sugar
  • 4 tbsp shortening
  • 4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare a 2-quart glass baking dish by spraying it with non-stick spray.
  2. Crush two graham cracker sheets into crumbs and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, softened butter, vanilla, and salt. Gradually mix in powdered sugar until smooth.
  4. Melt chocolate chips with shortening in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth (heat in intervals).
  5. Layer half of the graham crackers in the prepared dish, pour half of the melted chocolate over them.
  6. Spread the peanut butter mixture on top of the chocolate layer gently.
  7. Repeat the layering with remaining ingredients: graham crackers, chocolate, and finish with crushed graham cracker crumbs.
