  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 large yellow onion (chopped)
  • 2 packages mild taco seasoning
  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can petite diced tomatoes (drained)
  • 1 (4-ounce) can diced green chilies (mild)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 large bag Doritos nacho cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups Jack cheese (shredded)
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese (shredded)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (204ºC) and spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, diced chilies, sour cream, and cream of mushroom soup; heat through.
  4. Layer one-third of crushed Doritos in the baking dish, followed by half of the beef mixture. Repeat layers, finishing with another third of Doritos topped with Jack and cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake uncovered for about 20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly.
