Description

Easter Goody Bars are a delightful springtime dessert that perfectly combines the rich flavors of a creamy fudge filling with a crunchy pecan and oat crumble crust.   • 1½ cups quick oats
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (milk or semi-sweet)
  • 1 cup Easter pastel M&M's

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a 9×13 baking pan with cooking spray or parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix quick oats, flour, brown sugar, salt, melted butter, and chopped pecans until crumbly.
  3. Set aside 1½ cups of the mixture and press the rest firmly into the bottom of the pan for the crust.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and butter until melted smooth; pour over the crust.
  5. Sprinkle reserved crumble mixture on top, followed by M&M's and optional sprinkles; gently press down.
  6. Bake for 20-23 minutes until edges pull away from the pan; cool before cutting into bars.
