Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups freshly grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 pounds Russet or Yukon Gold potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Pepper (to taste)

  2. Peel and slice the potatoes into 1/8-inch pieces using a sharp knife or mandoline slicer.
  3. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds. Stir in heavy cream, salt, and pepper; warm until boiling.
