  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups bread cubes (optional)

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the sausage until crumbled; drain excess grease.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Layer the cooked sausage in the baking dish along with optional vegetables and cheese. If using bread cubes, add them next.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the layers evenly.

  7. Cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
