  • 3 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • Ground cinnamon, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt diced butter and chopped chocolate together in a saucepan over low heat until smooth; let cool slightly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, eggs, espresso powder, vanilla extract, and salt. Gradually stir in the melted chocolate mixture.
  4. Fold in all-purpose flour just until combined to maintain a fudgy texture.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for about 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool completely before frosting.
  6. For the frosting, beat softened butter until creamy. Gradually add sifted powdered sugar, then mix in heavy cream, Kahlua, and espresso powder until fluffy.
