  • 20 Oreo cookies (230 grams)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 1/3 cups granulated sugar
  • 8 ounces bittersweet baking chocolate (melted)
  • 10 tablespoons unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/3 cups heavy cream (cold)
  • 4 teaspoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter. Press into a pie dish and bake for 10 minutes. Allow cooling.
  2. In a bowl, beat sugar and eggs until thick. Melt bittersweet chocolate, let cool slightly, then combine with egg mixture and beat until smooth. Add room temperature butter gradually while mixing until fluffy.
  3. Fold in chilled heavy cream mixed with powdered sugar into the chocolate filling until incorporated. Pour into the cooled crust and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
