  • 56 g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g caster sugar
  • 90 g Demerara sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 85 g chocolate chips

Instructions

  2. Melt dark chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over simmering water; stir in vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs and sugars until fluffy.
  4. Sift flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt; add chocolate chips.
  5. Fold melted chocolate into egg mixture gently.
  6. Incorporate dry ingredients until just combined.
  7. Scoop onto a lined baking tray and bake for 12-14 minutes until set.
  8. Cool slightly before transferring to a rack.
