Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 6 cloves garlic (4 for chicken, 2 for pasta)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 12 oz fettuccine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Boil salted water in a large pot; cook fettuccine until tender, then drain.
- In a large pan, heat olive oil and sear chicken pieces seasoned with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until golden brown (6-8 minutes). Remove from pan.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Return chicken to coat with the garlic butter.
- For creamy sauce: In another pan, melt additional butter, sauté remaining garlic, add heavy cream and chicken broth; whisk in Parmesan until thickened. Season to taste.
