  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic (4 for chicken, 2 for pasta)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 12 oz fettuccine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot; cook fettuccine until tender, then drain.
  2. In a large pan, heat olive oil and sear chicken pieces seasoned with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until golden brown (6-8 minutes). Remove from pan.
  3. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Return chicken to coat with the garlic butter.
  4. For creamy sauce: In another pan, melt additional butter, sauté remaining garlic, add heavy cream and chicken broth; whisk in Parmesan until thickened. Season to taste.
  5. Toss cooked pasta in creamy sauce and serve topped with garlic butter chicken.
