  • ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • Juice of ½ lime (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  2. Add ground turkey to the skillet and break it up with a wooden spoon. Cook until no longer pink (5–6 minutes).
  3. Season with smoked paprika, cumin, chili powder (if using), salt, and black pepper. Add sliced bell peppers and stir for 3–4 minutes until slightly softened.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, tomato paste, and soy sauce; stir well. Simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes.
  5. Finish with fresh lime juice and garnish with cilantro or parsley before serving.
