  • 1/2 medium red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 ounces Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Sauté onion and bell pepper in a skillet over medium heat until soft. Add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine sautéed vegetables with ground turkey, egg, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, panko breadcrumbs, Swiss cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf in the prepared pan.
  5. Bake for about 40–45 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  6. Mix ketchup, mustard, and honey for the glaze; spread over the meatloaf during the last 15 minutes of baking.
  7. Allow to rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
