Ingredients
- 1 cup almond butter
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons non-dairy milk
- 2 tablespoons refined coconut oil or butter (melted)
- 2 eggs or flax eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup blanched almond flour
- 1/4–1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond butter, coconut sugar, maple syrup, non-dairy milk, melted coconut oil or butter, eggs (or flax eggs), and vanilla extract; whisk until smooth.
- Add cocoa powder, almond flour, baking powder, and salt to the wet mixture; stir until well combined.
- Line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper and pour the batter into it, spreading evenly.
- Bake for 22-28 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few crumbs attached.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing.
