  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons non-dairy milk
  • 2 tablespoons refined coconut oil or butter (melted)
  • 2 eggs or flax eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup blanched almond flour
  • 1/41 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond butter, coconut sugar, maple syrup, non-dairy milk, melted coconut oil or butter, eggs (or flax eggs), and vanilla extract; whisk until smooth.
  3. Add cocoa powder, almond flour, baking powder, and salt to the wet mixture; stir until well combined.
  4. Line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper and pour the batter into it, spreading evenly.
  5. Bake for 22-28 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few crumbs attached.
  6. Allow to cool completely before slicing.
