  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt (for brownie dough)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In one bowl, beat together peanut butter, softened butter, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add in one egg and vanilla; mix well.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually combine with the peanut butter mixture until just blended.
  4. For the brownie dough, whisk melted butter with white sugar and cocoa powder until smooth. Stir in one egg and vanilla extract.
  5. Fold in flour, baking powder, salt, and chocolate chips until no dry streaks remain.
  6. Chill both doughs for about 30 minutes.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of each dough onto lined baking sheets. Swirl them together using a toothpick for that signature look.
  8. Bake for 9–11 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
