  • 1 (8 oz) can water chestnuts, drained and diced
  • 3 oz shiitake mushrooms, diced
  • 3 scallions, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce: Whisk together hoisin sauce, soy sauces, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and shallots in a small bowl until smooth.
  2. Cook the chicken: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat sesame oil and add ground chicken. Stir until browned. Mix in water chestnuts and shiitake mushrooms.
  3. Combine: Reduce heat to medium and pour the prepared sauce over the chicken mixture. Stir until coated and cook for a few minutes to absorb flavors.
