Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless rib-eye steak (sliced or chopped)
- 1 green bell pepper (chopped)
- ½ cup onion (chopped)
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- Oil for frying
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Sauté the chopped green bell pepper and onion in half of the butter over medium heat until softened (3-4 minutes).
- In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and cook the rib-eye steak seasoned with salt and pepper until browned (3-4 minutes).
- Mix the sautéed vegetables back into the pan with the cooked steak.
- Position half a slice of provolone cheese in each egg roll wrapper, followed by 2-3 tablespoons of filling. Fold and seal with water.
- Fry in preheated oil until golden brown (3-5 minutes).
- Drain on paper towels before serving warm.
