  • 1 can Pumpkin Puree (15 oz)
  • 1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese (softened at room temperature)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 ½ cup Powdered Sugar
  • 12 oz Orange Candy Melts
  • 6 oz Chocolate Candy Melts
  • 3 Tbsp Vegetable Shortening (divided)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven and prepare the cake batter by mixing yellow cake mix, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and softened butter until smooth.
  2. Pour the batter into a lined baking sheet and bake as directed until a toothpick comes out clean.
  3. Once cooled, crumble the cake into a bowl and mix in half of the cream cheese frosting until combined.
  4. Form small balls from the mixture and chill for about 30 minutes.
  5. Melt candy melts with vegetable shortening until smooth, then dip each pop into the coating before decorating as desired.
