  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp cream of tartar (Skip if using Buttermilk)
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla essence
  • ⅓ cup butter
  • 3 tbsp caramel-flavored coffee creamer
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¾ cup rich cream
  • 3½ tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp kosher or sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and cream of tartar.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add creamer and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until combined.
  6. Pour batter into prepared bundt pan and bake for about 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. For the caramel sauce, combine sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat until golden brown; then stir in cream and butter. Add salt to taste.
  8. Allow cake to cool before drizzling with warm caramel sauce.
