- 8 cups potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 4 tablespoons butter
- ½ cup onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 6 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 cups milk
- ½ teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and spray a 9×13-inch pan with nonstick spray.
- Slice the peeled potatoes very thin using a mandoline slicer or sharp knife.
- In a large saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter and sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until soft.
