  • 1 tablespoon chai spice blend
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons chai spice blend
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 46 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Brown the butter in a medium skillet until golden and aromatic.
  2. In a stand mixer, combine browned butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, oats, chai spice blend, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Shape dough into balls and flatten slightly before placing on lined sheets.
  7. Bake for 12–14 minutes until golden around the edges; cool completely.
  8. Prepare the maple glaze by mixing powdered sugar, chai spice blend, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and heavy cream until smooth.
  9. Dip cooled cookie tops in glaze and let set before serving.
