Ingredients
- 1 pound mild Italian sausage
- 1/2 cup diced bacon
- 1 large onion

- 4–5 small Russet potatoes
- 3 cups chopped kale
- 6 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup half and half or heavy cream
