Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • ½ teaspoon thyme
  • 1/3 cup Frank’s hot sauce
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with a wire rack.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne, oregano, and thyme. Mix thoroughly and set aside.
  3. Wash and pat dry the chicken wings. Place them in a large mixing bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and toss well. Add the seasoning mix and ensure every wing is evenly coated.
  4. Arrange the seasoned wings on the wire rack and bake for 45-50 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 170°F (77°C). Flip halfway through cooking to ensure even browning.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine Frank’s hot sauce, melted butter, and honey. Stir until smooth.
  6. Once cooked, transfer the wings to a large mixing bowl, pour the Buffalo sauce over them, and toss until each wing is generously coated.
